My Fantasy Day!

You won’t believe the day I just had! It was filled with sunshine and flowers…quite literally. I went to the most glorious Botanical Garden you could ever imagine. It felt more like an enchanted garden. It was filled with the most gorgeous flowers, trees, and plants I’ve ever seen. There were butterflies, ladybugs, birds chirping; there were happy, smiling people; the sun was shining. It was a glorious day!

I felt so connected to the Universe, to my Higher Self, to everyone around me, to humanity, and to Source Energy.

I spent this day with three of my closest friends. We all felt such a beautiful connection to each other and to our incredible surroundings. We had a glorious meal at a local restaurant. The food was so fresh, so satisfying, so delicious! We enjoyed this delightful meal, and we had a beautiful conversation.

All of my senses were delighted: I saw so many gorgeous sights, including all the amazing flowers, the cherry blossom trees, the vast blue sky, the birds, all the happy people; I smelled so many wonderful fragrances, including the fragrance of the flowers of course, and the aromas of our delicious meal; I felt the energetic hugs from the Universe throughout my day, I loved the hugs shared between me and my friends, and I felt connected to everyone; I enjoyed our delicious lunch, which included fresh gourmet food, tira misu for dessert, and the most delicious tea I ever tasted! I also enjoyed the sounds of the birds chirping, the sound of the conversation among me and my friends, and the sounds of the people around us.

This was such a magical day, and I will always remember all the beautiful feelings I felt all day! I love knowing that I can reach for these feelings at any time, and recreate them in my now moment.

And I also love knowing that I can create days like this any time I want to. Life is amazing and magical, and I love being such a powerful, deliberate creator.

I wonder what fun I’ll have tomorrow...

Inspired by an Amethyst

My wonderful cousin gave me a beautiful tea-light holder, made from an amethyst. I googled the word amethyst and I came across these gorgeous images of amethyst geodes, which are the whole crystals in their natural state.

On the outside, these amethyst geodes look like ordinary stones, but once they are opened, there is a whole new world inside! I imagined what it must have been like when the first discovery was made. I wonder how that even happened! How did someone discover this amazing world of gorgeous, natural crystals inside of ordinary looking stones? I wonder if it happened serendipitously…maybe a stone fell and split open, waiting to be discovered by human eyes?

No matter how it happened, it’s still amazing to see. And it’s amazing that something so beautiful is hidden inside something so ordinary. It makes me think: we all have treasures within. We are all filled with wisdom and creativity and beauty.

I also believe we are all inherently good, and that the only reason people do “bad” or harmful things is because they are in some kind of pain. Abraham (Abraham-hicks.com) talks about how when someone hurts another in some way, they are disconnected from their Source. If they were aligned with who they really are, such harmful actions wouldn’t even occur to them!

Abraham always says, “Alignment first, then action.” I feel like if everyone did this, the world would be a different place! If we all got ourselves aligned with our Soul, our Higher Self, Source Energy, God…and then took inspired actions that felt like fun, imagine what a beautiful world it would be! Imagine if we let go of “shoulds” and “musts” and I have to do this and that…Imagine if we all did what we were inspired to do…I love this idea!

There is a Purpose for Everything!

Last night, I met a couple of friends at a lovely restaurant that just opened a few months ago. When we arrived, the parking lot was full. When we got inside, they said that the wait was an hour and a half!

The hostess area was chaotic because there were people everywhere. I noticed that this couple stepped right in front of us to put their name on the list. I instantly felt annoyed. Then I remembered: everything happens for a reason! I wonder what the reason is...

We stood by the bar and chatted while we waited. It was really loud by the bar, and I found myself straining to talk louder. I noticed that the couple who stepped in front of us in line got seated at a table right next to the bar. About five minutes later, our buzzer rang and we were brought to a lovely table towards the back of the restaurant. It was really nice and quiet in that section, and our waitress was wonderful and really friendly.

Another interesting thing happened: our waitress forgot to put our appetizer order in, so we never got it. This worked out perfectly because the dinner servings were huge, and it would have been way too much food!

I love this way of thinking about life. Who knows if any of this stuff is “true.” I don’t care! It works for me, and that’s what matters!

Another way of saying this is: There is a gift in every situation. No matter how something looks on the outside, there could be an underlying gift that you just can’t see yet. I have seen this in my life over and over again.

I'm going to continue looking for (and finding) the gifts in every situation and see what happens!

My Fun Date!

I went on a date on Tuesday evening with the guy I mentioned in a previous post. It was one of the best dates ever! We didn’t talk about the usual stuff like past relationships, etc. It did not feel like an interview. It felt like a fun, flowing conversation between two vibrant beings!

I went into it thinking: this is going to be fun. I’m going to enjoy myself and be inspired and enjoy the conversation and enjoy the food and the atmosphere…and that’s exactly what happened. There were no awkward moments. I felt very comfortable and quite simply, I had a great time! We both wanted to stay longer, but it started snowing, so we had to call it a night.

I was not wondering things like: is he the one? Where is this going? How should I act? What should I say?

It was more like: Wow, this guy is interesting! He is funny, smart, he has traveled to really interesting places. I wonder what else I can learn from him…I was thoroughly enjoying myself, and I was really enjoying his company.

Even now, I’m not concerned about the future of our interaction. I am going with the beautiful flow of life and I am focusing on feeling good. I’m learning that when I feel good, things just unfold magnificently.

I’m looking forward to what’s next!

Meditation Made Easy (6 Simple Steps)

The following is a simple outline of the easiest, most enjoyable, and most effective way of meditating that I’ve found so far.

Step 1: Buy a timer.

Having a timer is essential because you are not concerned about what time it is, or how much time has gone by, or how much time you have left.

Step 2: Choose a time when you have 15 minutes for yourself.

The best time that works for me is after I wash my face and brush my teeth in the morning. If I wake up really hungry, I’ll have a simple breakfast, and then sit down to meditate after I eat. Find the time of day that works best for you!

Step 3: Set some clear intentions before you begin.

My intentions usually sound like this:

I now connect with my Higher Self.

I now focus on what feels good.

I will relax now.

I release resistance and allow in all good things…

Step 4: Set your timer for 15 minutes.

After you've set your intention, simply start the timer.

Step 5: Breathe easily and deeply.

Don’t try to “do” anything. Simply enjoy the wonderful feeling of oxygen and fresh air flowing in and out of you.

Step 6: Notice the pleasant sensations you are feeling.

You may feel a tingling sensation in your hands and feet, you might feel warmth, you might feel a sense of detachment. This is all good! You may also notice a light in your third eye area. When I close my eyes, I see a gorgeous blue circular light, that seems to glow and morph, and it‘s right where my third eye area is. I've heard that this is the light of your Higher Self.

Simply enjoy the experience. Don’t try to make anything happen. The simple act of quieting your mind will do wonders for you in terms of allowing in lots of pleasant experiences. When you stop the train of negative thoughts, you stop all negative attraction. When you release resistance, you are in a place of allowing in the Well-Being that is always flowing to you!

It’s a wonderful thing!

My Continuing Theme of Imagination and Pleasure

I have the pleasure of receiving the Abraham-Hicks quote of the day. It's amazing how often I relate to the daily quote, on a very personal level.

Today's quote was no exception. It goes right along with my current theme of imagination and pleasure. Check it out:

Be easy about it. Don't rush into things. Savor them more. Make more plans and be more deliberate and specific about the plans that you are making, and in all that you do, let your dominant intent be to find that which pleasures you as you imagine it. Let your desire for pleasure, your desire for feeling good, be your only guiding light. As you seek those thoughts that feel good, you will always be in vibrational harmony with the Energy that is your Source. And under those conditions, only good can come to you, and only good can come from you.”

-- Abraham

I highly recommend reading this quote sentence by sentence.

When I heard about the idea of imagining what you want and envisioning what you want to create, I was concerned about not being present. I was thinking: if I’m always focused on my goals, am I losing the present moment?

Their quote from February 5th totally answered my question:

“People say. ‘If I'm always setting goals and reaching for the future, then am I not squandering my now?’ And we say if in your now you're using a future event to make you feel good, you are still feeling good in your now. And that's the best use of now that you could ever find.”

--Abraham

Abraham talks a lot about the importance of feeling good. I have come to understand that the reason it’s so important is because when you feel good, you attract more good to you. When you feel good, you are aligned with who you really are, and life just unfolds magically….ahh, I love it!

A new theme: Imagination and Pleasure

There has been a beautiful theme going on for me lately including imagination and pleasure. And when I talk about pleasure, I'm talking about feeling really good and enjoying all of your senses. The subject of imagination keeps popping up, and believe me, I’m paying attention! For me, the pleasure department has needed some attention for a while.

As I talked about in my last post, I had some fun harmlessly flirting with the waiter the other day. And isn’t it amazing: that night, I got a few messages from some guys on match.com, but none of them really got my attention. But a little while later, I received an email from someone who sounded very interesting to me. We enjoyed a nice email exchange, and we talked on the phone this evening. Here’s the cool part: I’m not concerned about the future, or any kind of detail. I am going to participate in this experience for the sheer pleasure of it! I’m going to enjoy myself! He sounds like a very fun, lively kind of guy, and I’m really looking forward to having a great time.

By the way, I had the cold stone facial massage a little while ago and I loved it! It was so relaxing and I loved the sensation of the cold stones and the warm towels. I had a lovely neck massage, as well. It was a wonderful experience, and for me, this is huge evidence of how amazing and powerful the law of attraction is!

I can’t wait to see how this theme develops!

More fun with the Law of Attraction!

I’m getting to a place where I am expecting miracles to happen. I am expecting coincidences and synchronicity. I am expecting manifestations to happen easily.

Last night, I read a chapter from “Mama Gena’s School of Womanly Arts” entitled The Womanly Art of Flirtation. Just the thought of being flirtatious for the sheer pleasure of it sounded good to me. I really enjoyed reading the fun stories of other Sister Goddesses (which is what Mama Gena calls all women) and the delightful experiences they had.

I put the book away, put some belly dancing music on and got ready to go out to dinner with my parents. Lo and behold, when we sat down at our table, an opportunity to flirt came right up to greet me. Our waiter was so nice, so friendly, so cute, and very attentive to our needs. I took Mama Gena’s advice and simply felt good about myself and enjoyed myself in the moment. I think he could feel it because he kept giving me these really sweet glances! It was really enjoyable and the best part is I wasn’t doing it to try to make something happen. I was doing it for the sheer pleasure of it!

Another cool thing that happened: I made a wonderful list of things that make me feel good. I’ve been learning about the power and the importance of feeling good now, so I decided to make a list of everything I could think of. It started out small but the list grew to about ninety things! I’ve really been wanting to get a massage and a facial, but I just haven’t allowed it in…until now! I This evening at work, they need to train someone to do the cold stone facial massage, and they asked me if I could be the person to receive it! Uh, yeah! How cool is this?

I love focusing on what I want and then enjoying the pleasure of letting it in…

Life is awesome! I am so excited to see what else I can allow in!
